Small Group Classes
Our small group classes offer a great challenge in a comfortable, supportive environment. With a maximum of 4 participants in each class, we tailor each program to the needs of the group.
Mondays 8:15 am Gentle Pilates - Mat & Chair
Mat Pilates at Boston University
Rachel also teaches group mat classes at Boston University Mondays and Wednesdays at noon during the academic year. You do not need a BU affiliation to attend, but you might need to join the FitRec (BU’s fitness facility). These classes are larger, averaging around 12 - 15 participants. Gentle Pilates - Mat & Chair
With a strong focus on the fundamentals, this class offers a gentle option appropriate for people with injuries and beginners. We build core strength in a safe and effective way, and also incorporate releasing and stretching techniques. We use the mat and small props, such as arcs, balls, rollers, rings, wobble discs, and therabands, and from time to time we use the Wunda Chair (see photo above).
$132 for a 6 week session
$25 per class on a drop-in basis (please contact us in advance to make sure that space is available)
